Hi my baby having age of 5 months but got fever now advice me with medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line of treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

follow the label..as the dosage depends on weight of baby.. use Babyhug medicine dropper to give medicine to baby .
