hi my baby boy weight currently is 6.5 kg . birth weight was 3kgs.now his weight gain is slowed only 200gms in last month . he is now 5 months 6 days old. is it ok. or do I need to do something. he is on exclusive breastfeeding.

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom babies are expected to almost double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and then they triple by the age of 1 year . Currently along with your feed you can introduce them to weaning foods and you can give them liquid consistency foods to start with and then gradually move to semi solids and mashed foods
