Hi, my baby boy is 4 months 10 days old today and still he can't hold his head ,is this ok he is born premature at 31 weeks of gestation

A. neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age.z regular massage of the back as well as the neck will help in strengthening the muscles of this area. if neck holding and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 months it isz important to meet the doctor for examination to find the cause of delayed milestones
