Q.

Hi, My baby birth weight was 3.4kg and today it's 1 month and weight is 3.85kg...is it something to worry...intially my milk was not secreting much ..so giving formula milk combination with breast milk...but after 2 week all good.. only giving breast milk since last 3 weeks...can anyone suggest me..why my baby weight is not increasing.

A. hi dear your baby weight is absolutely normal then no need to worry if baby is active Newborn babies should breastfeed 8–12 times per day for about the first month. Breast milk is easily digested, so newborns are hungry often. Frequent feedings helps stimulate your milk production during the first few weeks. By the time your baby is 1–2 months old, he or she probably will nurse 7–9 times a day.
