A. Hi dear Please consult your own paediatrician as it might be a case of lactose intolerance. For such cases there are specific formula milk and not the normal ones that we give to our babies. I am too feeding my baby formula milk only(Similac Advance) but i have heard of cases where lactose intolerant babies cannot take nomal formula. Wish good health for your babies.I hope i was helpful.

A. please read the question properly. what do I do so that they can formula milk? this is the 3rd time I'm getting same answer. I know mother's milk is important in initial days only if it's enough. if it's not enough and they are not taking formula. what to do?

A. Milk for babies specially in the initial days of life is very essential, breast milk is ideally the best and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . if your baby is having proper weight gain and urine output then you can consider that the baby is getting satisfied with the milk and there is nothing to worry. formula milk should be given only when advised by your pediatrician as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months nkto 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk lshould be used only after the completion of two years of age .
