Q.
hi my 7.5 months old baby has got cold and have stopped taking bottle feeds at night and has also reduced day feeds. I'm afraid he'll loose a lot of weight. it's been 5 days now. please advise how I can let him not reduce weight.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhjhyinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever whdich needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
