hi my 1.9 yr old 10.6 kg dd is having fever since this evening. no cold nor cough. getting higher temperatures 102.2 after 4 hrs of giving p250. can I give p250 every 4 hrs?how do I reduce temperature. is this normal? should I visit doc tomorrow or wait for a day?

yes you may repeat Paracetamol after 4 hours also.
the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.
