hi mam by baby girl was born on November 30 she was affected by jaundice at 5 th day born and kept in phototherapy for 18 hrs her skin was became very dark is it temporary

A. Phototherapy and early morning sun exposure help in neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Phototherapy causes a change in skin colour, sometimes causing the bronze baby syndrome. reversal to original colour needs about 48 days .
