Q.

Hi maam/sir, My son is 5 months 15 days old now. I would like to start formula feeding as I have planned for breast surgery. When i prepare formula milk as per mentioned standard on package milk is more thick than breast milk. 1level scoop with 30ml water. Is it safe to feed such thick formula milk? or should i dilute it by adding more water, please suggest. Thanks, Swetha.

A. Hi Mam, Yes formula milk is thicker than breastmilk so Please stick to right measurement. For every 30 ml water use only one scoop of formula. You don’t need to add water. You can refer on formula milk containers for reference.

A. Hello dear parent, yes you can start formula milk if you want from.niw on. This is helpful from.thsi age onwards. As before 6 months of age it is totally breast milk that has to be fed to the bahy. Good luck and take care
