In my 37 weeks 5 days scan my baby weight was 2.8 and i delivered on 38 weeks which is 2 days post the scan.. but my baby weight was 2.373... what is the reason for the difference in weight... I had contractions however it was dilated only 2cm so they broke the water bag around the noon and i delivered in the evening.. it's a normal delivery.

A. Regarding the process of delivery, it totally depend on particular situation n decision taken according by ur treating doctor. for ur childs weight difference, in scan the weight they calculate are just guessing according to theyr findings only.. it can be more or less

A. Hello dear parent! After birth there will be a little decrease in the weight once the umbilical chord is cut. Nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Consult your child’s doctor for advice. Good luck and take care.
