Hi. I'm 38 weeks pregnant today I went to the hospital to check up. They checked my cervix and told me the cervix opened. now I have a little bloody discharge. it's symptoms for labour or cervix check happening.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. after having cervical examination the blood discharge is totally normal so nothing to worry about ,you can just take adequate rest
but if the discharge increases or you have pain in abdomen along with back pain then you should not wait and visit to your hospital immediately

Know if you’re having bleeding or little bit of spotting brown or red colour then you are mostly in your labour I would suggest you to check with your doctor and if your cervix is already open then it is good you won’t take much of time to deliver so I would suggest you to kindly check with your gynaecologist for this
