hi I am breastfeeding mother for 7 months baby.....after delivery I got my period for 2 and half days...then after I didn't get .... when will I get regular period

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. you are a breastfeeding mother generally there will be lactational amenorrhea which may continue sometimes after one year also there can be irregular periods also during this lactation period . .

There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Breastfeeding mothers tend to get periods late and as late as one year. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular. Take care
