Hi I am 26 weeks and 6 days pregnant a few days back my bp was high it was 140/100 my doctor prescribed me bp tablets for month is it safe to take at this stage of my pregnancy? secondly, below my lower abdomen I used to have pain is it ok to have pain or is there anything serious. Please guide

Pregnant women do feel occasional cramps in the lower abdominal region and as long as they’re not increasing in frequency or getting painful, it is fine. Looks like you’re having hypertension complicating pregnancy and you should be under close watch of your doctor. Please take the medication as prescribed.
