hi Dr my daughter have fever Dr gave me calpol fever is not reducing only what to do its already 3 days

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. fever for more than 3 days is not a simple fever and examination is required for the same ansd you can continue to give the fever medicine like paracetamol and if needed higher medicine like ibugesic.
kindly do body sponge and give fluids at regular interval and meet the doctor simmediately

Ivide has already been three days and I suggest you to go ahead with getting a blood test done for the child because a doctor save the fever does not subside within the time of three days then you need to go ahead with a personal assessment of blood test to figure out what could possibly be the issue because then it is not considered as a normal fever it could be due to some infection
