hi Dr my baby was preterm iugr born. now he is 1yr old birth wt was 1.645kg now he is 8.5kg but last 3month he is in same wt 8.5kg .and he is doing babling but not saying baba mama

A. Hello there, Ma’am, please do not worry about it too much. Please give eggs and chicken and chicken soup to the baby. Please give banana shake and ragi porridge to the baby to gain weight. Kids start to speak small words like maa and Pa by the age of two years. Please wait for sometime, and the baby will start to speak. Thanks and take care
