Hi Dr. My baby is 8 weeks old and having cold & cough. Local dr prescribed omnacortil drops so wanted to know if it is okay to given newborns steroids

A. Local dr is paediatric doctor and he has prescribed it

A. Steroids are not healthy for the child and such as knowledge you should give basic medicine I don’t know what local doctor are you talking about whether it is a Paed so please check with the regular paediatrician before you give any medicine steroids are a total no no no no
