Hi Dr, my baby is 2 months old, she was doing great with feeding, urine and pooping, but for now she is unable to poop but releases gas and urine from past 2 days, is this normal or should I consult my pediatrician. please advice

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello , your baby girl is 2 months old and she doesn’t poop regularly but with difficulty so give her enough milk and let her go her way don’t be panic

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal
