Hi, Doctor myself sana ,I need help,suggest me doctor actually my period date is 22 till now I didn't get periods 1 month completed on 2 may I get red spots and little bit bleed then after on 9th may I got brown discharge like spotting..iam married and iam trying to conceive.. suggest me doctor what to do ,today I done pregnancy test in early morning that is negative sign afternoon I got brown spotting after that no bleeding

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. then try to get test. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentIn such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion

The simple answer is yes, you could still be pregnant even with a negative test, depending on when you took it, but there are also other reasons your period could be late. A pregnancy test detects HCG levels in your urine which increase the longer you are pregnant.
