hi doctor my son now 5 months old he has cold and running nose so I showed near by pediatrician they gave drops ( nasal drops, active cold and mucolite drops) am giving him more than a week but still he as running nose and now he got little cough also , can u please help me out any medicine or home remedies,

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steafttm inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there cayn be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
