Q.

hi doctor my son is 4 yrs old he is having cough no cold,no fever they gave syrup but not clear he is having .they told to neblaise they given glucose bottle they told to put 3 ml and they are neblising.one day left ge is coughing wat to do

A. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also give sinarest drops.cough syrup or nebulization shtrould be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple home-made preparations as required ,child will eat as symptoms resolve.
