Q.

Hi doctor, my daughter 4.4 yrs old with very low weight and 12.8 kg. After trying many things for weight gain, still we see no improvement. How to diagnose if she has any intolerance to gluten or milk? any test required? any nutritionist opinion?

A. once consult your paediatrician for proper examination of the child and start treatment as advised by your doctor. if baby has no issues. start iron calcium and multivitamin regularly and protein powder with milk twice a day as diet alone can't meet nutritional requirements of a growing child

A. Hello dear parent! Without proper physical examination it is not possible to conclude anything. Consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Let the child be physically active as much as possible and feel hungry before the next meal. Serve foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates to encourage healthy eating.
