my baby z suffering from cold and fever so we consulted doctor he prescribed Amoxylin , paracetamol and Maxtra drops for 5 days again after two days dubara se fever agai so went again to doctor he prescribed paracetamol and cephalexin oral suspension ip (antibiotic) for 5 days still fever persists so went to another doctor n I said my kid is having from 10days n given two types of antibiotics but still fever persists he said it's a viral fever n prescribed medomol and Amoxylin and potassium clavulanate oral suspension ip
is it safe to use antibiotics again plz suggest ???

you have to investigate the reasons why baby is having prolonged fever Fever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees
