Hi doctor my baby is suffering from cold cough and fever I consulted the pediatrician he prescribed me medicine n antibiotics Iam following that along with that which fruit and vegetables is good for baby to get cure early is it safe to give banana n guava in fever

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which shocfuld be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. Hi parent Please don't give the food items that is tough to digest you may give her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the day time give her easy to digest and very moderate diet. don't. forc feed or over feed her. Don't.use RO water use simply purified water having TDS higher than 350
