hi doctor .my baby is prematured baby .born at 29 weeks.his actual age is 6 month corrected age is 3.5 month.when should I start solid.he don't have head control yet.

A. Hello, your baby boy is 3.5 months old and he is premature baby born at 29 weeks of gestation so you should wait till he is 6 months old and then give him solid food

A. I Would like to inform you that all kids who are born before the time like a pre-term child they take a little longer time to reach the milestone so if your child still hasn’t had a stable head it will happen mostly by the age of 4 to 4 1/2 months and when your child actually completes the age of six months you know not the correct it is the regular age of six months that would be the right time for you to introduce proper semisolid food and water as of now continue with breastfeeding only
