hi doctor my baby is 2 years 19 days old but she does not talk too much she says only few words not sentence she understands everything and doing all things but only less talking how I can I help them plz suggest me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years trcof age .
just make the child comfortable and do more intreraction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
