hi doctor my baby boy is 13months old and his weight is 9kgs. is the weight ok? my boy sometimes wakes in the night and cry for long time.what will be the reason and what we have to do to soothe him.#asktheexperts

if the weight is according to the below criteria and if it is proper then no need to worry.
Babys weight will double by 5 month and triple by one year of age from the birth weight.
Little less or more will not cause any harm.
If your baby is healthy active passing 6 to 8 times urine per day and passing motion frequently then please do not worry
waking up at night and crying for some reason is quite common in the kids it may be because of stomach pain or also can be because of breastfeeding . nothing to worry once the child will grow it will be alright
