hi doctor. my 3 year old daughter always bites her nails. she doesn't speak to stranger. she is very shy nature.

A. When kids bite their nails most of the times due to deficiency of calcium and sometimes due to anxiety also which we don’t understand that kids can have anxiety in this age but they can because they’re very shy in nature sometimes they’re scared of talking to new people you have to get your child into the habit of interacting with people so that the child feels better confident and the anxiety will also be less after that
