Q.

Hi Doctor. my 15th month baby girl have a fever.. when I give babygesic to her the fever will get slow down but after 6 hours fever again back.. what can do please suggest

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also d be tried if required like ibugprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
