Hi doctor I m mother of 2 year baby. I m over weight after stopping breastfeeding. I want to reduce my weight from 76 to 70 . So I m doing daily 2000 steps normal walk and 20 min aerobic exercise. I m having diet food. I stopped sugar and oil food completely. My day start with hot water and 5 soaked almonds and then for breakfast I will have I cup rice . Afternoon 2 to 3 chapattis with dal and tea at evening and in night small size ragi ball with dal .this is my daily routine. Is it k r should I change my lifestyle. Plz Doctor help me out I m really confused

A. Hi mom. Yes ur routine is fine. It will take some time for the weight to reduce. Have warm lemon honey water daily to burn fat. Avoid high calorie food like sugary bakery junk and oily food. Have dinner two hours before bedtime to increase metabolism. Drink plenty of water in a day to flush out excess toxins from the body
