HomeQuestions & Answershi doctor I'm a mom of one year old son... my son doctor didn't not eat properly at night time because I use to feed him with rice dal, vegetable egg at lunch time and dinner time but at night in dinner time he seems to not eat properly so I started giving him oats at night in dinner time and he like to eat oats every night and now is almost 2 3 months that he eat oats in dinner time but some of my relatives and neighbours they said that it's not good to give a baby with oats every day because oats have so many fiber and your baby need more proteins and they said that oats may lead to have diabetes in the future if you start giving oats since childhood... what I'll do doctor should I stop giving him oats

Though nothing like this occurs, prefer getting the plain oats and add your own natural flavours to it, rather than prefering the ones with premixes .
You could also try to add in more variety in his diet , as otherwise they wont get used to other foods
