hi doctor, I am breastfeeding my baby(currently 16 months), can I use topical ointment in face for melasma

A. Hello dear parent! Avoid self medication. Better to check with your doctor before using it especially while breastfeeding. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day. Good luck and take care.
