Q.

hi doctor..I am 7 month pregnant n diagnosed with duodenal atresia in NT scan.. doctor recommended surgery just after delivery..is it safe for my baby..any risk?..can I avoid this surgery..or other way to cure intestine problem? what should I do to cure this?

A. There is no way to cure the intestinal problem except surgery and it is compulsory because if the DUodenum is closed then the baby will not be able to digest the food. Better consult a pediatric surgeon because they will explain in detail what the issue is and everything related to the surgery and prognosisWrite Your Answer Here

A. Hi Do abdominal stretching exercise and go for walking every day atleast 15-20 minutes stay hydrated avoid junk food and bakery products like maida bread avoid stress stay happy Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Maintain hydration
