Elders say if breast becomes too hard due to not feeding for few hours ( which mostly happens in the night when baby doesn't drink milk for 3-4 hrs) they asked to extract few milk then give to kid. they say milk would have become tangi flavour. please advise doctor.

1. is it safe to give milk aft 3-4 hours
2. wht to do if breast becomes too hard need to store or can be given once she is awake

Hi If your child is not having feeding you ring the night time in the rest are heavy that you can express your breast feed you feed store the milk into refrigerator or something and you can give it later even if you don’t want to give it and you feed your child directly in the morning it’s completely fine it is a breast feeding it is not a normal dairy milk which is going to get spoiled if you don’t see the child it’s absolutely normal even if you feed your child after eight hours it is going to be absolutely same as it
