Q.

Hi, can meftal p and ibugesic syrup be given to 6 month old baby together each with 6 hours of interval for fever ex - meftal at 1pm - high fever ibugesic at 5pm - high fever meftal at 11pm - high fever ibugesic at 3am - high fever ps. This has been prescribed by my pediatrician. looking for a second opinion. And most importantly, how long viral fever last ???? Regards

A. baby 6 months old if your pediatrician has already examined your baby and given you are very genuine good advice then why you need to doubt your doctor in fact if you doubt your doctor please consult a second pediatrician but it needs a proper examination because your doctor has seen your baby and given the medicine viral fever normally can last up to one week
