Q.
hi, baby boy, 1 month 19 days old. since a week, Baby is not sleeping at night, keep crying and we felt that he wants to sleep but he couldn't, once he goes to breasr feeding then sleeps for 5 mins and then wakes up and gets cranky. 1 pattern we have noticed is that he yawns and stretch a lot and after yawning he starts crying. what to do

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hi dear Newborns should get 14–17 hours of sleep over a 24-hour period, says the National Sleep Foundation. Some newborns may sleep up to 18–19 hours a day. Newborns wake every couple of hours to eat. Breastfed babies feed often, about every 2–3 hours.
