Q.

Hi all ...my son is taking out some water from mouth after having lunch ..after sometime and sometimes little bit of rice comes out from his mouth which chews back and till now he did not vomit anything but daily this happens after lunch itried reducing the quantity of rice.but it is happening is it normal

A. the child might be suffering from gastroesophageal reflux so better to meet the pediatrician after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

A. Sometime this can happen but sometimes it could be due to indigestion issues as well so if you require you can take an advice with your paediatrician to help you with medicine to regulate the digestive system of the child only if it is required
