Hello sir, My baby is 1.5 month old, she is addicted to nipple shield how to get wean from it.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you can offer breastfeeding to the child first and then you can offer the nipple Shield and gradually you can decrease the habit
there is no problem in using nipple shield while giving breastfeeding. it is important to maintain hygiene of the nipple shield with proper cleaning as well as sterilization. if the mother and the child is comfortable and the growth of the child is proper then you can continue to use it
