hello sir / madam, My daughter is 10month old.. she is having cough from last 2days.. kindly suggest some medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if your baby is having any cough most of the time either it could be allergic or infective which needs proper evaluation. initially you can start giving steam inhalation to your baby which will help in relieving symptoms to some extent and will make the baby comfortable.cough suppressants are usually avoided in children,it needs to be examined first before giving any kind of medicine. so it will be better if you consult your doctor for proper guidance to suggest you proper medication along with proper dosage for the kind of problem.
