Q.
Hello. My son has Mongolian spot on his lower back and hips since birth. The doctor told me it will go away. However, i feel it's spreading as I could see the spots now on his upper back and shoulders. Should I be concerned? Thank you.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. birthmarks are very common in children and usually fade by one to maximum 2 dyears of age.
if they are not increasing in intensity and number then there is no need to worry.
you can consult your doctor who will tell you regarding the birthmarkd and any complications if any which may be associated with it.
