hello, my daughter is 4 yrs 6 months, she is dry coughing for more than a week, the doctor has prescribed butadryl and amoxycillin...but she is still coughing...kindly suggest a good syrup.

Author of questionMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello Dr.Sameer kindly suggest a good cough expectorant syrup with anti allergic medicine for my 4 yr old child...since she has been coughing for more than a week with no positive result..after prescribed by the doctor of medicine like butadryl and Amoxicillin and potassium clavanate and azithromycin.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the tijjme supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
