Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then graduallty you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or fogrmula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

Then You start giving formula feeding to the child that is what is going to be helpful because once you start giving formula feeding that your child is going to sleep with that with the help of a bottle you can easily give it to the child as and when required
