Hello my baby boy is 5 n half months old n he rubs his eyes frequently n continuously he rubs for 2-3 mins though we try to stop him he still rubs pls suggest something

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 5.5 months old and he is rubbing his eyes for minutes together so keep him away from dust and smoke and use tobacin eye drops twice a day

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, this is absolutely normal among babies. They usually rub their eyes out of sleepiness. Or also when they are cranky. Better to play with your baby or rub his eyes a little with soft napkin so that baby can feel better. Good luck and take care
