hello. my baby 12months 3weeks old has started hitting himself on head with his hands , banging head on walls or floor or beating me when he is cranky.
no one at home or his nanny has ever hit him. he does this only when I am around. this behaviour is not seen when the nanny or someone else is taking care of him.
why is this happening? is this a tantrum ? and why specifically when I am around? how do I get rid of this?

such type of behaviour always decreases with increasing age of the child and it is very common behaviour at this age. 
with proper diversion and getting the child engaged in another things  will help in decreasing such behaviour.

meet your doctor for more advice and also share the video of such behaviour with thec doctor.
also see that the child is not having iron deficiency because that can aggravate this behaviour  z
