Shorten each breastfeeding session before stopping it completely.
Postpone breastfeeding sessions and Substitute food, drinks, or comfort for breastfeeding.
Distract your toddler.
Stopping gradually will also help prevent problems like overfull, hard (engorged) breasts

You should feed your child up till the age of two years at least if you are unable to do that or if you want to quit then make sure that your introducing a healthy complimentary feeding to the child in the first place and then only slowly you can quit onto your breastfeeding that’s the great procedure to follow
