Kids may be labeled late talking children if they speak less than 10 words by the age of 18-20 months or fewer than 50 words by 21-30 months of age. By the end of second year, your kid should be able to speak two or three word sentences. Talk to your child throughout the day. Sing rhymes with your baby. Keep pointing at things and tell their names. Read out story books to your kid. Point at pictures and explain the characters present. Keep asking questions and wait patiently for their reply. In case he does not reply, give the answer and ask him to repeat.
