Take a warm water bath as it can help provide relief from lower abdominal pain and cramping. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Have small, but more frequent meals. Follow a healthy diet rich in fibre, such as fruits and vegetables. Apply a hot water bottle wrapped in a piece of cloth or hot water bag to the painful areas.
