Hello mam mere baby ki cord naturally nikal gayi h but mujhe navel pr halka sa bloody sa dikhta h ..halka sa pani bhi aata h ita normal...mai uske cord pr es powder ko dalti hu povidone iodine powder...it's safe or good for baby

if there is any kind of pus then you have to consult the pediatrician otherwise if you are applying the old on powder then you can wait for few days to see for the any kind of infection.
if the baby is having pus in the umbilical cord it indicates that there is some infection.
you have to definitely consult with the pediatrician as this infection can spread and it may cause some danger.
do not apply anything over the umbilical cord just dry it completely after the bath
