Hello madam/sir I'm mother of 9 months baby boy. He is suffering from heavy cold & cough . even after consulting pediatrician. so plz give me some other solution to this.

Author of questionMom of 3 children2 years agoA. sir doctor has given alkof, oflolin-100 syrup & drops for cough & cold but not yet required.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives mfyedicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation byy the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
