A. A food chart for a seven-month-old baby typically involves introducing a variety of nutritious foods in a safe and developmentally appropriate manner. Keep in mind that individual babies may have different preferences and tolerances, so it's essential to be flexible. Here's a general food chart for a seven-month-old: **Breakfast:** - Iron-fortified rice cereal or oatmeal - Mashed banana or pureed fruits **Mid-Morning Snack:** - Plain yogurt (if the baby has started dairy) or pureed fruits **Lunch:** - Mashed or pureed vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, peas) - Pureed or finely mashed lentils or beans - Small portions of well-cooked and finely shredded chicken or soft tofu **Afternoon Snack:** - Mashed avocado or pureed fruits - Single-grain infant cereal mixed with breast milk or formula **Dinner:** - Mashed or pureed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin) - Mashed or pureed fruits - Soft, finely shredded meat or fish **Before Bedtime:** - Breast milk or formula Remember to introduce new foods one at a time and wait a few days before adding another. This helps identify any potential allergies. Always consult with your pediatrician before introducing new foods and ensure that the textures are appropriate for your baby's developmental stage. Adjust portion sizes based on your baby's appetite and cues.
