Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. You can give banana, potatoes, sweet potatoes and continue feeding breastmilk or formula. You can add homemade ghee in babys regular meals. You can also give warm rice mixed with curd. After one year of age, you can add full cream cows milk, eggs, meat if non vegetarian, potatoes and all diary products like butter, curd, ghee, cheese, paneer etc. Add dry fruits and nuts like almonds, pistachios, cashew, walnut, fig, dates in the child's regular diet. They will help to increase weight. As long as the baby is taking feeds and eating properly, poops and pees regularly and is active and healthy u need not worry much about the weight. Keep feeding the baby a balanced and healthy diet.
